VMware hiring Member Technical Staff – B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech


Candidates from Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Masters preferred
Candidates should have strong knowledge in developing scalable distributed systems in Java
Skilled in object-oriented design methodology and techniques
Proven ability to deliver quality software

Solid understanding of system architecture, including processors, memory management, storage and networking is highly desired
Excellent communication skills and must be able to interface with customers as necessary

JOB DESCRIPTION / DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE


Design and develop the next-generation system’s performance monitoring and capacity management infrastructure for VMware’s virtualization products
Demonstrating an ability to understand complex system architectures and come up with creative solutions to challenging problems
Taking technical ownership for key components and working through performance and scale issue
Work with QA engineers and ensure software testability, quality, scalability and stability
Work with the documentation team and ensure good quality documentation of the product and the API
